In the heart of Honolulu is a dynamic destination where nature and elegance coexist. This is Kōʻula.

Thoughtfully designed spaces seamlessly flow from indoor to outdoor, evoking the organic shapes, repeating patterns and rich textures of the uniquely breathtaking backdrop that is Hawaiʻi.

VISUALHOUSE worked closely with The Howard Hughes Corporation and Studio Gang to create CG Imagery and CG Animation for these contemporary residences.

Kōʻula’s award-winning architect, Jeanne Gang, was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People for 2019. She’s also a Professor in Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she teaches about the cultural and environmental considerations of architecture. Believing that we are most at home in nature, Gang drew insights from the islands and applied them to materials and form.

Living areas bathe in natural light, while floor-to-ceiling windows artfully frame Hawaiʻi’s picturesque surroundings. The semi-enclosed lānai allows residents to delight in the islands’ signature trade winds—both indoors and out. Panoramic views of the Ko‘olau mountain range and O‘ahu’s South Shore bring the outside in, and masterly crafted interiors comprised of natural materials and custom details create a home that’s both inviting and invigorating.

Ward Village is a place where individuals and families thrive. Where food, drink, shopping and entertainment combine. It’s a place to discover meaningful connections with neighbors and nature. Everyday conveniences and the pleasures of paradise are all in the palm of your hand, or right around the corner. Ward Village strikes an ideal balance between urban energy and island serenity.
